A two-vehicle collision Monday evening (3/6) closed a half mile of Highway 66 but left only one person with minor injuries — Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advised the silver 2009 Pontiac G6 and the blue 2016 Jeep were both eastbound. The Jeep slowed down to turn into Chasemore Estates and the Pontiac struck the Jeep from behind. The 17-year-old driver of the Pontiac was taken to Bellevue Medical Center. Alcohol was not a factor in the accident. (Photo above from the Plattsmouth EMS Facebook page.)
