HAY BALES ON FIRE brought Louisville fire and rescue volunteers to 84th and Bay Road Tuesday afternoon (2/14) — Cass County Emergency Management Agency and Plattsmouth fire units also responded. About 10 round 1000 pound hay bales were on fire and the grass around some of the bales was also burning. The bales rekindled and units were called out again after 5am Wednesday morning to the same location. The first units on scene said the bales were smoldering again.
