In a news release issued Wednesday (9/10/14), Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann reports a rural Plattsmouth home had been burglarized and a 9mm pistol was missing. Deputies were provided with information that led them to a suspect also in rural Plattsmouth. The investigation led them into a suburban neighborhood in Bellevue where the firearm was located. 31-year-old Joseph B. Lewis (above) was arrested, said Brueggemann.
